Application of T-slot Aluminum Profiles in Automation Equipment

To understand the use of T-slot aluminum profiles in automated equipment, we must first clarify two concepts: 1. What is a T-slot aluminum profile? 2. What automated testing equipment are there?

T-slot aluminum profiles refer to aluminum extrusion profiles used in industry. They have T-shaped grooves on the face and can be connected by inserting bolts, nuts and other accessories. The most commonly used T-slot aluminum profiles are 4040 aluminum profiles, 4080 aluminum profiles, 5050 aluminum profiles, 6060 aluminum profiles and 8080 aluminum profiles.

What are the automated testing equipments that we often encounter in my work: visual testing equipment, solar component testing equipment, semiconductor testing equipment, auto parts testing equipment, etc. One thing they have in common is that they are non-standard. Different testing equipment is customized according to the product specifications to be tested.

Officially because these testing equipment are non-standard, T-slot aluminum profiles are widely used in various types of automated testing equipment due to their complete models and specifications, many types of accessories, and easy assembly and disassembly.

It is mainly used for the construction of the main frame of the testing equipment, the construction of the protective cover of the testing equipment, the construction of the overall protective cover outside the testing equipment, etc. Different T-slot aluminum profiles are selected according to the size and location of the testing equipment used. However, the industrial aluminum profiles commonly used in automated testing equipment mainly include door frame aluminum profiles 1530. 4040 aluminum profiles, 4080 aluminum profiles and 5050 aluminum profiles are commonly used in the frame section.
